CDFA trapper Israel Rodriguez found one male OFF while servicing Jackson/methyl eugenol traps on August 26. The trap was placed in an apricot tree at a residence along Chanticleer Road.

The trap density in the area was 5 Jackson/methyl euguenol and 5 McPhail traps per square mile. In response, CDFA will increase the trap density to 25 Jackson/methyl eugenol and 25 McPhail traps per square mile in the core square mile around the find.

CDFA Insect Biosystematist Kevin Hoffman made the determination.
