Gypsy Moth (GM) Merced County Delhi While inspecting Delta/GM traps on July 23, Merced County trapper Sheila Worthley found one dead male GM. The trap was placed in a trailer park along Highway 99 near the Merced River. The trailer park where the GM was found is part of the high hazard GM trapping program. In response to the find, Merced County Department of Agriculture will increase the Delta/GM trap density to 25 traps per square mile in a four-square-mile area around the find. CDFA Insect Biosystematist Tom Eichlin made the determination.
