On July 21, Sonoma County trapper Stan Peterson found one male GM in a Delta/GM trap placed in a sycamore tree along Victoria Drive.

The trap density in the area was three Delta/GM traps per square mile. In response, Sonoma County Department of Agriculture will increase the Delta/GM trap density to 25 traps per square mile in a four-square-mile area around the find.
CDFA Insect Biosystematist Tom Eichlin made the determination.
