Los Angeles County trapper Jose Sandoval
found one male OFF in a Jackson/methyl eugenol trap on July 6. The trap was placed in a peach tree along W. 106th St.

The trap density was 5 Jackson/methyl eugenol traps per square mile. In response, CDFA will raise the Jackson/methyl eugenol and McPhail trap densities to 25 traps per square mile in the core area.

CDFA Insect Biosystematist Kevin Hoffman made the determination.
