TERMINAL INSPECTION
 
1. Low Pest Risk, Low Level Inspection: When from a commercial shipper and not in violation of a quarantine, minimum inspection required of the following to determine if material is free from pests, properly labeled as to contents and for validity of certification:
All California origin material
Bulbs, corms, tubers, pips, stolons, rhizomes
Seeds in small packages
Fruit trees
Strawberry plants
Cactus
Venus fly trap
Onion sets
Rhubarb
Plants produced epiphytically
Resurrection plants
Terrarium plants
Boxwood
Ivy
Carnations
Evergreen seedlings
Horseradish plants
Juniper
Pansies
2. High Pest Risk: Past records indicate that serious pests may be carried on plant material listed below, careful 100% inspection should be made of all plants on this list:
All plants shipped by a private party
All plants of foreign origin
All plants not listed under (1) above depending on origin
Cut flowers/greens from Hawaii and Florida
Berry bushes
Zoysia grass plugs (live insects)
Palms (scale insects)
Banana tree
Euonymus (snails)
